Inspired by popular social media features, Stories are a powerful tool for increasing user engagement, retaining audiences, and driving revenue through advertising. While creating a custom Stories feature from scratch can be time-consuming and costly, our platform simplifies the process, enabling businesses to launch a complete Stories experience within days for a single monthly fee. Our comprehensive solution offers top-tier Stories capabilities, including native SDKs for iOS, Android, and Web, along with publishing tools, analytics, and advertising support. Responsibilities of the Software Engineer: What You'll Do: Develop reusable software components for our SDK to enhance the Stories experience. Lead projects from initial idea through to final delivery. Improve internal technical practices, adopt new technologies, and elevate code quality. Take initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members to drive overall technical excellence. Learn and refine our DevOps processes and tools to support fast-paced delivery. Contribute to defining the technical architecture of our products. Qualifications Must haves: A minimum of 4 years of relevant commercial experience. Proficiency in C# and .NET Core. Experience working with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core. Familiarity with Git version control. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. Nice-to-Have Skills: A degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with unit testing and testing frameworks. Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) programming principles. Contributions to open-source projects. An active presence on GitHub or Stack Overflow. This opportunity is coming in between £75,000 - £85,000 alongside a competitive wider benefit package.
