Network Architect Domain Expert

X4 Technology are offering the opportunity for a Network Architect Domain Expert to join one of their dynamic IT Consultancy clients on a full time basis. They are focused on maximising the potential that technology can offer and work with the best technology providers across the board. You will lead the design, implementation and management of complex network infrastructures for their clients. Responsibilities of the Network Architect Domain Expert: Define, design, and oversee the implementation of high-performance, secure, and scalable network architectures, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud networks Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex network projects, from initial scoping and design through to implementation, testing, and post-implementation support Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, assess existing network infrastructure, and provide expert recommendations for network strategy, modernization, and optimization Requirements of the Network Architect Domain Expert: Previous experience in network architecture and design, preferably within a consultancy Expertise in configuring routers, switches, firewalls and load balances from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Alto, Palo) In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking solutions including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs and network security protocols This is a hybrid role based in Coventry (3 days onsite) coming at £40,000-£50,000.
