Or perhaps you’re simply looking for more flexibility to work from home. This is an opportunity to do exactly that. It’s something of a ‘greenfield’ site. Whilst the business is well established, the Compliance Monitoring function is somewhat in its infancy And you’ll get to work from home, although from time to time you may be required to attend the firm’s offices in Cheshire or Bristol and so should ideally live within a reasonable commute of one of those two locations. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you’ll take ownership of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, for its ongoing development and its execution. You’ll ensure the business is delivering appropriate advice and is meeting all regulatory requirements. You’ll work with the business to ensure all regulatory, operational and conduct risks are identified, assessed and managed appropriately, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and monitoring them accordingly. This broad role will also see you performing horizon scanning, drafting and implementing policies, approving financial promotions and producing compliance bulletins. You’ll have gained strong Compliance Monitoring experience, ideally in a FinTech environment and be comfortable working closely with technical IT teams (developers, UX designers etc.). Previous experience of the development of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and associated processes is preferred. Any previous Open Banking (AISP or PISP) or consumer credit experience would be advantageous but is not essential. You’ll also have the ability to effectively communicate compliance matters across all levels of a business and possess excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills. Interested?
