Position : 251150 Position: Cyber Security Solution Architect (NIST/Azure) Position Type: Permanent No. of Positions: 1 Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON Description This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Cyber Security Solution Architect to join a dynamic and growth-minded team, where you'll play a key role in safeguarding the company’s digital infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll design security solutions, integrate controls into IS projects, collaborate with technical teams, support compliance efforts, and guide security initiatives to ensure regulatory adherence and business alignment. Responsibilities Develop and refine security policies and standards to support enterprise security objectives. Architect and integrate critical security controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. Conduct security architecture assessments, identifying risks and ensuring adherence to industry frameworks (NIST, ISF). Assess and implement security solutions, aligning them with enterprise systems and evolving threats. Advise on security incident response strategies and assist in developing security awareness training programs. Collaborate with IS and business teams to embed security principles across project lifecycles. Support vendor assessments, define security requirements in contracts, and ensure service delivery meets KPIs. Requirements 8 years of experience in Information Security, Solution Architecture, and enterprise security strategy. Experience developing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. Expertise in hybrid security solutions (cloud & on-prem) and aligning with industry standards (NIST, ISF, SDLC). Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, WAF, DLP, vulnerability scanners). Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders. Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem-solving skills Cybersecurity certification (ISC2, SANS, SABSA, CISM, CISA, CCSK, or cloud certifications).
