About the job We are looking for Professional Services Director with 15 years in leadership, pre-sales activities, change, and project execution within BFSI industry. What you will be doing: Monitor project timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery and implement improvements and corrective actions as necessary. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Lead and manage the professional services team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning services to meet their expectations. Attend project steer Cos and build C-level reporting line. Manage and own the software services portfolio of the Clients Define and implement service delivery strategies, ensuring efficient processes and timely project completion. Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and actively seeking new clients. Collaborate with different teams, including sales, marketing, and development, to enhance service offerings and address client requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards during service delivery. Manage and resolve any project escalations or issues promptly. Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and financial metrics to senior management. What we are looking for: 15 years of relevant work experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or in a related field. Proven experience in a leadership role within professional services, preferably in the software product industry and banking domain. Knowledge of software implementation methodologies and project management principles. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the banking industry. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) would be an advantage. Strong track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering results. Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Project/Program management experience and skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and control multiple projects within timeframes and budgets Sound knowledge of the banking domain and the software product industry, with a deep understanding of client needs and market trends. Proven experience in managing and delivering professional services to clients, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Strong business acumen, with an understanding of financial and commercial aspects related to professional services. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
