Software Engineer - Army

Job Type Full-time Description Software Engineers Venesco is looking for two Cleared (Secret) AWS Cloud Engineers to support the Army Neighborhood Watch (NBHDw) Project with the following skills: AWS Cloud Engineer AWS Networking AWS federating access across multiple applications (Active Directory / Access Management for Splunk, AWS, etc.) Must hold a Secret Clearance (Existing CAC holders would be a plus.) Overview: AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) cloud environments using AWS technologies. This role involves migrating on-premise systems to the cloud, automating cloud-based processes, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure efficiency and security. Key Responsibilities: Design and Architecture: Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS services. Migration: Plan and execute the migration of on-premise systems to the AWS cloud. Automation: Automate cloud-based processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security. Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to develop service catalogs and maintain architectural templates. Security: Ensure that cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices working collaboratively with Infrastructure teams Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders regarding cloud solutions. Requirements Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in cloud computing, specifically with AWS. Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud is a plus. Skills: Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture. Experience with cloud deployment. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
