We are currently seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in automating data extraction from diverse sources and developing advanced preprocessing tools. This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on our core technology within a vibrant startup environment. Role Overview: Automating the extraction of structured data from unstructured sources like PDFs and plain text using proprietary algorithms, enhancing their capability to process these at scale. Developing tools for preprocessing source materials, including scanning, scraping, clipping, and cleaning of PDFs and HTML. Manipulating semi-structured data with advanced regular expression techniques. Proficient in C/C++ with a deep understanding of recursion, delegation, and dependency injection. Expertise in string manipulation and regular expressions. Strong command of Unix/Linux environments, including scripting and process management. Interest in a range of programming paradigms and languages.
