Role: IT Risk Management Consultant Location: Toronto, ON Long-Term Contract Opportunity Overview: This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead IT risk reporting and assessment initiatives within the Capital Markets Technology Platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and manage risks—ensuring timely and accurate reporting that supports informed decision-making and strengthens overall risk posture. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of risk reports, highlighting Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for senior management and operating committees. Track and assess risk issues, working with IT teams to ensure timely and effective remediation. Perform control testing to evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls in alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Need to Succeed: 5–7 years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, or a regulatory environment. Strong knowledge of IT General and Application Controls. Proven experience in developing and reporting KRIs. Advanced skills in Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication skills for engaging with leadership and stakeholders. Professional certifications such as CISA , CISSP , CRISC , or CIA are preferred.
