Our Technology Practice has 5 capabilities: IT Architecture Cloud Engineering Software Engineering Intelligent Process Automation Quality Management Cloud and Infrastructure Sr. Principal We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud and infrastructure solutions for our clients. This role involves assessing client needs, providing expert guidance on cloud strategy, and delivering cutting-edge solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support clients in achieving their business objectives through a mix of cloud and on-premises resources, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Consultation & Strategy: Work with clients to define a hybrid cloud strategy that aligns with their business goals, assessing current infrastructure, cloud readiness, and recommending a tailored approach to cloud adoption. Cloud Solutions Design: Architect scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) tailored to client requirements. Infrastructure Management: Plan, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure, including networking, storage, and compute resources. Cloud Migration: Lead hybrid cloud migration projects, identifying the best approach for moving workloads, data, and applications between on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, etc.). Private & Public Cloud Integration: Ensure seamless interoperability between public cloud services and on-premises infrastructure, optimizing for performance, security, and cost-efficiency Cloud Operating Model Design: Design cloud operating models (e.g., governance, roles, and responsibilities) to support cloud infrastructure and services. Develop cloud governance models to ensure compliance, security, and operational standards. Design frameworks for cost management, optimization, and operational efficiency in the cloud environment. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud and infrastructure solutions to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability. Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and meet industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Automation & DevOps: Implement infrastructure as code (IaC), automate processes, and drive DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design and implement robust disaster recovery and backup solutions for cloud environments. Client Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for clients to ensure seamless operation of their cloud and infrastructure systems. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in cloud and infrastructure consulting, with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Proficiency in cloud architecture, networking, security, and storage systems. Hands-on experience with cloud migration and multi-cloud environments. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.). Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.). Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices for cloud infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises data centre integration. Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST.
