Software Developer - Guidewire/Java

About the Role Join a dynamic team driving the implementation of a new, cutting-edge billing platform As a Guidewire Developer , you'll play a key role in enhancing and deploying solutions for a large-scale Guidewire Billing Center implementation. Working in an Agile environment , you'll collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance features to meet business needs. Troubleshoot issues, estimate workloads, and ensure high-quality code through testing and debugging. Develop Java applications and services in an Agile setting. Contribute to continuous improvement and share best practices within the developer community. Work closely with QA teams and business analysts to ensure smooth implementation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience developing on the Guidewire platform using Gosu . 3 years of Java development experience. Bilingual (English & French) required. Preferred Qualifications Guidewire certifications. Experience with Guidewire SaaS and Billing Center . Experience with Guidewire version migrations . Familiarity with Spring, Cucumber, JMeter, Git, JIRA, and Confluence . Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines . Knowledge of Agile methodologies . Understanding of property & casualty insurance and billing/collections processes .
