D365 ERP / PowerBI Specialist

Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Brampton, ON (4 days in office, 1 day remote) About the Company: A well-established, privately owned company with a global presence, operating for over 80 years About the Role: As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in the company's data modernization initiative. You will be responsible for ETL processes and report generation, supporting business users with critical financial and operational insights. Your expertise will be essential in building reports using Power BI and DAX while ensuring seamless data extraction from the new D365 Finance & Operations ERP system. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain reports using Power BI and DAX. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from the D365 Finance & Operations ERP. Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to understand reporting requirements and financial concepts such as cash flow statements, general ledger entries, accounts receivable/payable aging reports, inventory/order/sales reports, and balance sheets. Optimize SQL queries and work with MSSQL databases. Support the company's transition from legacy systems (Nav 2009/2013, MSSQL 2008/2012R2, MS Access reports) to modern solutions (D365 F&O, Azure Data Lake, Jet Solutions, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Pyramid ETL). Must-Have Qualifications: Hands-on experience with ETL processes involving D365 Finance & Operations ERP or Business Central (cloud version). Proficiency in Power BI and DAX for report development. Strong SQL and MSSQL skills. Experience collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams to gather reporting requirements and develop financial reports. Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with business users. Ability to commute to Brampton office 4 days per week. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Jet Analytics/Reports. Knowledge of Pyramid ETL. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory. Work Schedule: Standard business hours (EST), Monday to Friday. No travel required.
