Senior Data Scientist An amazing opportunity to join a successful Data Science team within one of the largest Non-Ministerial Government Departments in the UK as a Senior Data Scientist. As the Senior Data Scientist, you will apply your data expertise to inform key decisions that influence public policy and services. Furthermore, as the Senior Data Scientist, you will lead high-impact projects, deliver advanced analytics, and collaborate with various teams to solve complex, real-world problems using data. Skills and Technology experience for Senior Data Scientist role include: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, and experience with SQL for querying large datasets. Familiarity with machine learning libraries, cloud platforms, and big data tools. Strong knowledge of data analysis methods, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques. Proven ability to approach complex problems creatively and develop data-driven solutions. Previous experience in government or public sector work is beneficial but not required. Salary: £62,000-£72,000 Working Arrangement: Hybrid, 2 days/week in office.
