Test Analyst

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking mid-sized investment bank within our Asset Management division. We are recruiting for a significant implementation programme and are seeking a talented Calypso Test Analyst to join the team on a contract basis. Role Overview: We are looking for a Calypso Test Analyst who has a passion for financial services and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be an integral part of a large implementation programme, ensuring the quality and reliability of our Calypso system. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Calypso system. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects and issues. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. Participate in test automation initiatives. Provide regular updates on test progress, issues, and risks to the project manager. Assist in the preparation of test reports and documentation. Requirements: Experience with Calypso Understanding of financial services, preferably within asset management/investment banking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Basic understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
