Junior Consultant - Security System Design (NOT CYBER) Location : Royal Docks, East London (Hybrid) Salary : £30,000 - £40,000 (Competitive, based on experience) Job Type : Full-time About Us We're a dynamic security design engineering consultancy specialising in bespoke solutions for the UK's architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector. The Role Ready to transition your hands-on security experience into an exciting consultancy career? We're seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Security Design and Engineering team. This role is perfect for those with practical experience in security systems who are eager to apply their knowledge in a design and advisory capacity. What You'll Do Collaborate on larger, complex security design projects with our senior team Lead security design projects for smaller projects Design and specify cutting-edge access control and video surveillance systems Develop CAD drawings and technical documentation Conduct on-site witness testing and system verification Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Essential Attributes Experience : 2-5 years in security systems design, installation or commissioning Technical Know-How : Solid understanding of enterprise-level security systems (on-premises or cloud-based) Soft Skills : Strong communication abilities and a knack for building client relationships Adaptability : Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and design principles Attention to Detail : Meticulous approach to drawings, technical specifications and standards Other Valuable Attributes Project management experience or training Knowledge outside of electronic security, e.g. physical security or risk assessment Training or experience in IT management, networks or cyber security Experience with AutoCAD or Revit software or willingness to learn Familiarity with Secured by Design (SBD) or other built environment security guidance Why Choose Us?
