Job Title: GMAS Dealer Auditor – Warranty and Sales Incentives Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: GM Audit Services (GMAS) is seeking a Dealer Auditor to evaluate dealership compliance with General Motors’ Warranty and Sales Incentive programs . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership operations, auditing, and automotive service policies , with the ability to analyze data, assess risks, and ensure adherence to corporate policies. Bilingual candidates are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Conduct audits to evaluate dealership warranty claims and sales incentives for compliance with GM policies and procedures. Utilize data analytics tools to identify discrepancies and trends in dealership claims. Assess dealership operations, including service, warranty, and sales processes , to ensure compliance. Perform detailed financial and operational analysis to detect fraud, misrepresentation, or inefficiencies. Communicate audit findings to dealerships and corporate teams, recommending corrective actions. Utilize MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data manipulation and reporting. Operate Windows-based laptops for scanning, remote printing, and data transfers. Maintain integrity and confidentiality in all audit processes and decisions. Travel extensively (approximately 32 weeks per year via air or vehicle) to dealership locations across assigned regions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Automotive Technology, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in dealer audits, warranty audits, sales incentive audits, or related automotive fields. Strong background in automotive diagnosis, repair procedures, and service operations . Experience in a wholesale or retail automotive environment , preferably in a district sales or service manager role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analytics tools. Strong analytical skills with an inquisitive, investigative mindset . High level of integrity, ethics, and values in professional decision-making. Ability to manage adversity, inconsistency, and change effectively. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with dealerships or at a dealership . Dealer interface experience in sales or service departments. Background in service/warranty claims is a plus. Licensed mechanic certification is a plus. Experience with GM’s Service Policies and Procedures . Familiarity with Google Suite, Adobe, and cloud-based audit tools .
