Head of Information Technology Food Manufacturing North of England £80,000 - £85,000 10% Car Allowance & 20% Bonus. Travel to UK & European sites. This is the opportunity to join a food manufacturing business who need an established Head of IT to play a key part in the delivery of their long-term goals while maintaining and developing the existing infrastructure. It’s no secret that this company love to invest, they envisage that in the next 3-5 years they will acquire more business and will need your expertise to integrate systems and support in the onboarding of the company. Not only will you play a key part in the integration of new acquisitions, but you will also unpack what is a complicated ERP landscape, with multiple systems used across the different sites. You’ll be tasked with analysing, identifying, sourcing and implementing a relevant group-wide ERP system that will service the needs for each individual site. There are plenty of exciting projects to keep you entertained while you support your group-wide team with guidance, coaching and development. And although there is so much exciting stuff to get involved in, the fundamentals remain key, especially when it comes to cyber security, version control and maintenance of infrastructure. Background? Clearly, this role requires someone at the top of their game who is looking to drive change and improvements. The fundamentals in this role are key and require experience with: EDI platforms, ideally with supermarket retailers. Managing system integrations following acquisition. Identification and Rollout of ERP systems. Managing £1.5-2m budget. Cyber security, version control and maintenance of infrastructure.
