Job Title: Business Development Manager – Security Systems Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (with regional travel) Salary: Up to £50,000 base company car commission Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Overview: We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support our customers growth by generating new projects and service/maintenance opportunities, while managing and developing relationships with key accounts. You will create accurate quotations, conduct surveys, and close sales. The role requires strong technical knowledge of security systems and building relationships with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Generate New Business: Identify and pursue new project and service opportunities and provide accurate quotations to secure business. Account Management: Manage existing key accounts, maintaining relationships and identifying additional sales opportunities. Site Surveys: Visit client sites to assess requirements and provide accurate quotes based on their needs. Sales Reporting: Update and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports for the management team. Collaboration: Work with the estimating and projects teams to support the delivery of customer solutions. Client Communication: Provide updates to clients on new technologies and ensure satisfaction with services provided. Travel: Travel across the region (mainly Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, London, and the Home Counties) for client visits. A valid driving licence is required. Skills & Experience: Security Systems Knowledge: Experience in security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms) and a solid understanding of the industry. Sales Experience: Proven experience in business development and sales in a related field. Client Relationship Management: Ability to engage with clients at all levels and build long-term relationships. Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS 365, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel. Project Estimating: Experience with estimating, costing, and budgeting for security projects. Certifications: BS7858 Security Screening and relevant industry qualifications.
