Salesforce Education and Marketing Cloud Technical Lead Contract till Dec 2025 HYBRID- 2- 3 days onsite each week in Toronto Office The Technical Lead will provide the technical leadership for the implementation of the Salesforce solutions for the Enrolment and Admissions Rethinking initiative. Lead a team of technical professionals (developers, application engineers, consultants, UX/UI designers) to design and implement Salesforce solutions including Mulesoft API and integrations Must-Have: • Experience with Salesforce & Education Cloud – Proven expertise in Salesforce Education Cloud and Marketing Cloud, including system architecture, configuration, and integration with third-party applications. • Technical Leadership in CRM & Admissions Systems – Strong background in leading technical teams for enrolment, admissions, or student information systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT best practices. • API & Integration Expertise – Hands-on experience with APIs, middleware, ETL processes, and real-time data integration between Salesforce and other institutional systems (e.g., SIS, finance, identity management). • Agile & DevOps Methodologies – Ability to drive Agile development practices, continuous delivery, and DevOps principles for streamlined system deployment and maintenance. Nice-to-Have: • Experience with OCAS & IRCC Compliance – Familiarity with OCAS workflows, Provincial Attestation Letters (PAL), and IRCC compliance requirements for international student admissions. • Cloud & Automation Knowledge – Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines. • Higher Education Industry Experience – Direct experience working in post-secondary institutions, managing student lifecycle solutions and enrolment-related technologies. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience • Strong experience (7 years) designing and delivering technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, Education and Marketing Cloud, and integrating Salesforce to external systems • Experience with application integration strategies and protocols, including the use of iPaaS solutions such as MuleSoft and JitterBit • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce solutions, release and environment management, including data and security model design • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components • Experience building a strong, collaborative team with a focus on client relationship management • Strong communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience working with and/or on teams that deliver technology solutions iteratively and incrementally • Experience working with scrum and agile methodologies in Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar environment • Experience in ERP systems and integrations in higher education is an asset
