Your Position & How You Will Contribute: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee, subcontractor management, and coordination for our residential, business, and multi-dwelling unit (MDU), installations. This role requires a dynamic individual with a solid understanding of telecom operations and installation, contract management, and the ability to manage small projects from initiation through completion. The Contract Manager will play a critical role in ensuring installation services meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations through appropriate control measures while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities: Contract Management: Develop relationships, evaluate and support vendor selection, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage subcontractor performance and contract compliance. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure contract alignment with company policies and objectives. Analyze contract terms and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Validate performance metrics of subcontractors and optimize performance deliverables while maintaining cost structures. Subcontractor Management: Onboard, and oversee subcontractors for telecom installations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Monitor subcontractor performance, addressing issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure subcontractors are compliant with process and safety guidelines and adhere to project specifications. Project Management: Lead small-scale installation projects, including business and residential MDU installations. Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and budget tracking. Oversee site assessments and documentation requirements. Ensure installations are completed according to specifications, resolving any issues that may arise. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between subcontractors, and internal teams,. Provide regular status updates and address any project-related concerns. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Define clear processes and quality measures for installation projects Establish quality control measures for all installations. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns. Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned to improve future projects. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all field operations contracts, project documents, and communications. Prepare project reports, including financial tracking and performance metrics, to report on project success and areas for improvement. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, telecommunications, project management, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. Experience: 5 years of experience in telecom field operations, subcontractor management, and/or project management. Experience with fibre, wireless, or broadband customer installations. Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in telecom operations. Hands on experience in design, implementation and installation in FTTH environments Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and regulations Proven track record of managing small to medium-sized projects within established timelines and budgets. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Well developed process definition and documentation abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
