Director, Data Engineering and Analytics

As Director of Data Engineering & Analytics , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise data strategy and fostering a culture of self-service analytics, strong governance, and data-enabled decision-making. You’ll lead a central data function and work closely with senior leadership to unlock the full potential of data across the business. What You'll Be Doing Develop and execute a company-wide data strategy aligned with long-term business goals. Lead and grow a high-impact data team spanning data engineering, analytics, and governance. Drive the delivery of data programs and ensure integration across business functions. Promote data democratization through scalable, secure self-service platforms. Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations, particularly in regulated sectors. Serve as a thought leader in data strategy, tools, and best practices—internally and externally. Collaborate with executive stakeholders to embed data into all areas of the business. What We're Looking For 10 years of experience in data leadership, strategy, or analytics roles. 5 years managing cross-functional data teams in complex, matrixed organizations. Proven success delivering enterprise data strategies that drive measurable outcomes. Strong understanding of data governance, engineering, analytics, and BI ecosystems. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Cloud Composer, etc.). Deep knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks (preferably in healthcare or insurance). Excellent communicator, collaborator, and influencer—comfortable engaging at the C-level. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
