Job Title: Small Works Lead - Structured Cabling Location: TN12 Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year Additional Pay: Performance bonus Role Summary The Small Works Lead will support the Operations Manager by executing small works and requests from key customers. This role focuses on delivering exceptional operational performance and customer service in line with company standards. Key Responsibilities Site Works Execution: Perform moves, adds, and changes on client sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Complete installation works efficiently and within agreed timelines. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager during meetings at the West Kingsdown office. Utilize documentation and sign-offs to demonstrate compliance and progress. Compliance and Safety Ensure all work complies with legislation, Health & Safety standards, and company policies. Liaise with the Operations Manager to complete necessary paperwork and maintain safety practices on-site. Qualifications and Skills Experience in the installation, termination, testing, fault finding, and patching of copper and fibre optic structured cabling systems. Strong understanding of networks and data cabling. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to problem-solve and work both independently and collaboratively. High degree of reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience in enhancing customer relationships and managing conflicts. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word). ECS/CSCS Card preferred; additional Health & Safety training can be provided. Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points). DBS Enhanced check preferred (to be undertaken by the company at our expense). Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe (company van provided).
