The Role As a Data Modeler , you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining complex data models that support business needs. In this role, you will leverage your Industry based best pattern Data Modelling skills. Key responsibilities: Analyse and translate business needs into long-term solution data models. Evaluate existing data systems. Work with the development team and business stakeholders to create conceptual/Logical/Physical data models. Evaluate implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. Troubleshoot and optimise data systems and follow industry best data modelling practices. Review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility to accommodate multiple sources data into the Data Warehouse while following the best Data Modelling practices. Implement data strategies and develop logical and physical data models. Update and optimise local and metadata models. Present and communicate modelling results and recommendation to the internal stakeholders and assist development team to get it implemented. Maintain single source of truth and fit data from different multi data sources for Data Analytics consumption. Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience: Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools. Fluency with the SQL. Working knowledge of Erwin Studio Data Modelling tool. Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Extensive hands-on experience with physical and relational data modelling and dimensional modelling. Good to have: Cloud deployment Data Warehousing knowledge on GCP, AWS or any Cloud. Working knowledge of GCP Cloud technologies such as Big Query based Data Warehouse, DBT and ETL Pipeline.
