The Role: Solutioning to build a comprehensive data platform, which can satisfy the functional and non-functional requirements which includes data security and DevOps pipelines. Key responsibilities: Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS data platform technologies. Keep the data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions. Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience: Experience of AWS Data platform including AWS-EMR Cluster Platform, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, Lake formation and Glue catalogue. Data Storage Fundamentals. Cloud specific patterns and technologies. AWS Service Selection, Container design. Experience Designing DevSecOps pipelines. Experience in data security areas in AWS like IAM, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Inspector. Hands on experience in architecture of the data workloads in EMR\Clusters. Designs system architecture to integrate easily with other AWS services. Strong background in technologies like Spark, Hive and Pyspark. Key Experience: Experience of managing the full life cycle of a data platform solution in AWS. Experience of leading AWS cloud design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solution. Gather Application Know-how necessary for design and development using AWS tools. Able to analyze complex problems using information provided, understand customer requests, and provide the appropriate solution. Need to have expertise in the set-up and administration of AWS data platform including security areas and have working knowledge of tools like Hive and Pyspark. Good to have: Experience in Databricks platform. Insurance domain knowledge (Pensions & Annuity.) Understand the data platform solutions like data lake, data warehouse, data marts.
