Regulatory Product Consultant £60,000 - £100,000 base I'm working with a fast-growing FinTech who offer an innovative and market leading SaaS based regulatory platform. Their product is used by top tier asset management, banking and insurance clients to meet their global regulatory requirements. They are looking to grow their platform development team, helping to improve their product for existing and future clients, taking into account changes in the regulatory landscape. This is a unique opportunity to join a very rapidly expanding FinTech firm as they scale their team to drive growth in international markets across the UK, US and APAC. Responsibilities: Collaborating with client and product teams to understand new functional requirements for the platform, and working with technology teams to implement. Testing of the new functionality before it is released to clients – running system tests, quality assurance tests and data integrity testing to ensure the robustness of software functional releases and code fixes. Enhancing and maintaining all aspects of the “business as usual” (BAU) delivery of the platform to clients. Utilising leading-edge front and back-end technology platforms , such as AWS. Relationship building across the business, including with back-end technology, client relationship and product teams in order to plan and manage the development of the SaaS product to meet a dynamic change agenda. The opportunity to work directly with the executive leaders across the firm. Additional responsibilities and opportunities: Ownership of change initiatives and development areas within the team and having end-to-end responsibility for it - researching, analysing, building propositions, developing business and functional specifications, working with technology and client relationship teams to deliver into production and demonstrate to clients. Maintain detailed working knowledge of the marketplace in which the firm operates and working with clients to help address the issues they face. Strategizing with the firm's consulting and advisory function to support client facing activities – for example assisting with the production of sales pitch documents and involvement in the tender process. Support other teams in the business, for example working with marketing and media teams to help produce and publish thought-leadership articles across a variety of mediums; web, video, social media etc. Requirements: The business is looking for candidates with a business analysis or product background, gained in a capital markets focussed consultancy or directly with a bank, clearing house or financial market infrastructure provider. Absolutely essential is experience with trade and transaction reporting regulations, and technical business analysis and/or product development experience. The logistics: My client offers a salary of £60,000 to £100,000 , dependent on experience, with prosperous company benefits. This role is based in London, typically 3-4 days a week in the office. If this ticks the boxes for you please apply. Regretfully, due to a high volume of applicants, we are only able to reply to those who are successful. Equal Opportunities: We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all employees and job applicants. In line with the Equality Act 2010, we strive to create and maintain a working environment in which all individuals are able to make the best use of their skills, free from discrimination or harassment, and in which all decisions are based on merit. No individual is subjected to any less favourable treatment on any discriminatory grounds on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy and maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
