IT Continuity & Resilience Lead

Job Title : IT Continuity & Resilience Lead Job Overview : The IT Continuity & Resilience Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing disaster recovery standards and plans to ensure the protection and recovery of critical IT systems, infrastructure, and applications. Key Responsibilities : Develop and manage a comprehensive disaster recovery test schedule and recovery plans for IT systems and infrastructure. Lead disaster recovery tests and exercises, coordinating with teams to document and evaluate results, driving improvements. Measure and report on system recovery times (RTO/RPO), ensuring alignment with business needs. Foster relationships with stakeholders to support and drive resilience across the organization. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements for disaster recovery. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Certifications: CBCP, ITIL, BCM Institute accreditation. 10 years of IT experience, 5-7 years in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity. Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and networks. Experience with disaster recovery tools, backup software, and risk mitigation. Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Expertise in regulatory standards (ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34). Experience in a regulated industry, preferably utilities. Must have strong experience in applications and infrastructure, This role plays a critical part in ensuring IT service restoration and long-term business resilience.
