Our federal government client is seeking a Senior Policy Consultant to support the development of a comprehensive policy instrument package . This package will replace the current cornerstone policies governing the maintenance and support of naval platforms. This is a full-time, 2-year contract performed remotely within Canada . About you To succeed in this role, you'll need: 8 years in two or more areas related to materiel management: supply chain, reliability, quality, logistics, or systems engineering 5 years of project management in marine or naval environments 5 years of experience creating policies on materiel management 2 years in acquisition and sustainment for marine/naval platforms To be a Canadian citizen who has or is able to acquire a Secret-level security clearance About the role If hired, you will: Review policies to create content with context, statements, requirements, and authorities Assess the effectiveness of new and existing policy instruments Evaluate how new policies impact current practices Develop processes to align and implement policy changes Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and update policies Create briefing notes and presentation decks Share weekly updates and track activities monthly Applied to this job already?
