Responsibilities: Design & Development: Architect and build agentic AI systems that leverage autonomous decision-making capabilities and adapt to evolving requirements Programming & Scripting: Develop and maintain efficient, scalable Python code, ensuring robust integration with AI components and other systems Data Management: Utilize SQL for data querying and management, ensuring reliable data extraction and transformation Language Models: Implement and fine-tune LLMs and SLMs to support natural language understanding and generation tasks Rule-Based & Statistical Modeling: Integrate rule-based systems and statistical models to enhance AI decision-making processes System Orchestration: Coordinate and manage the orchestration of various system components to ensure smooth, reliable operation of agentic AI solutions Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to identify new opportunities and innovate on existing AI methodologies API Development: Develop, test, and document APIs for seamless integration of AI systems with external applications and data export functionalities Quality & Compliance: Ensure code quality, system performance, and adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements Required Core Skills: Python: Proficient in Python programming, with experience developing AI applications and automation scripts SQL: Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and integration with AI systems. Large Language Models: Hands-on experience with implementing and finetuning large language models in real-world applications Rule-Based Systems: Experience in building and integrating rule-based systems into larger AI frameworks Statistical Models: Competence in applying statistical models for data analysis and decision-making processes System Orchestration: Ability to coordinate complex system architectures and ensure smooth integration of multiple components API Development: Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs, including data export APIs Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a passion for solving complex technical challenges Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to collaboration and innovation You must be located in Toronto and eligible to work in Canada to be considered for this role Other Skills: Experience in autonomous systems and agent-based modeling like LangChain and LangGraph Experience with using LLMs and creating finetuned SLMs Familiarity with Amazon technologies like Amazon Sagemaker and Amazon Bedrock Container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of programming languages and tools relevant to AI development Prior experience in the Insurance or Banking domain is a plus What We Offer: Hybrid working model Comprehensive Health Benefits Generous holidays and flexible PTO Professional growth and advancement
