This role involves working on a high-profile trading system development project for a large enterprise client, handling substantial daily traded value. The ideal candidate will be a senior or high-performing professional with a strong background in QA automation. Key Responsibilities as the QA Automation Engineer: Develop and maintain automated test pipelines using Playwright. Analyse and review functional and non-functional product requirements, identifying gaps and inconsistencies. Create automated tests to validate software, ensuring the highest quality standards. Take ownership of quality aspects within the system as part of the QA team. Manage, triage, and report existing defects, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution. Advocate for and implement QA best practices, contributing to their ongoing enhancement. Help define test automation guidelines and standards to optimize the software testing process. Requirements as the QA Automation Engineer: Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA Engineering, including writing automated tests for web and/or non-web applications. Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git/GitHub. Familiarity with Jest, Playwright, and BDD tools such as Cucumber.
