Senior Business Analyst - Retail/ POS Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Hertfordfshire (with some international travel) - Office based - 5 days per week A Senior Business Analyst is required by a global and innovative software company, based in Hertfordshire. Specializing in Retail (with ideally some POS experience), the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with global teams to guide retailers (clients) through successful implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. This is an exciting, newly created role that offers the opportunity to lead and shape innovative solutions in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Management: Engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels, shaping strategies and building strong relationships. Leadership & Strategy: Lead teams and customers, providing strategic guidance to ensure successful POS solution deliveries. Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Capture, analyze, and document business requirements, providing insights and solutions that align with business needs. System Implementation and Support: Oversee POS system implementations, ensuring they meet requirements and providing ongoing support. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements, driving continuous improvement. Project Delivery: Focus on delivering projects on time, collaborating closely with internal teams and customers, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Qualifications & Competencies At least 5 years' experience in retail business analysis, with ideally POS systems knowledge. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and deliver projects in complex environments.
