Electronic Data Interchange Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Specialist to manage and maintain our EDI systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting EDI transactions, ensuring seamless data exchange between our company and external partners. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with EDI mapping, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and trading partners to optimize processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain EDI transactions and integrations with trading partners. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with IT, supply chain, and external vendors to optimize EDI workflows. Perform EDI mapping and translation using industry-standard tools. Monitor EDI transmissions and perform regular audits to ensure efficiency and reliability. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and company policies. Assist in onboarding new EDI trading partners and testing EDI transactions. Document processes, configurations, and system changes for internal reference. Requirements: 2 years of experience working with EDI transactions and integrations. Knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, FTP, VANs). Experience with EDI mapping tools. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with ERP systems, is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
