Location: London, Manchester, Glasgow (hybrid working arrangements, typically 1-2 days per month in the office). Employment Type: Permanent. Salary: up to £70,000 dependent on experience, bonus and other benefits. As a requirement, all candidates must be SC eligible and (sponsorship cannot be supplied). As a AI Regulation & Governance Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing AI frameworks that ensure compliance with global regulations and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include: Designing frameworks for governing AI safely, fairly, and ethically. Overseeing governance throughout the AI development lifecycle. Ensuring AI solutions comply with industry and government regulations. Collaborating with stakeholders across various sectors. Representing the company in discussions on AI ethics. Guiding the team on AI regulation and governance advancements. You will also have the chance to contribute to business development, internal initiatives, and personal growth activities, enhancing your skills and career development. Skills and Expereince Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions. Experience of proposition building and delivery. Leadership: proven leadership experience in AI regulation and governance, demonstrated by your roles in industry, government, or professional services. Technical: Extensive expertise in strategy, data/AI governance and AI/machine learning. Proficient understanding of AI, machine learning algorithms, data science concepts, and their applications in business. Proficiency in creating technical documents such as policy drafts, guidelines, and compliance reports. Strategic Thinking: Ability to provide strategic guidance on AI governance to senior leaders. Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, honed through interactions with government agencies, industry partners, and internal teams. Communication: Effective communication skills to represent the company in discussions on AI governance and deliver training sessions, to upskill both internally employees and clients. Strong ability to communicate complex AI and regulatory concepts to a non-technical audience, both written and oral. Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI governance, contributing to a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.
