Software Engineer - Global Hedge Fund (Up to £150,000 Base Salary) Company My client are a global quant investment firm managing approximately 12 Billion AUM, focusing on various assets and spanning all geographies. Their investment platform is built on state of the art technology, leveraging real time data analysis to let them perform millions of trades a day. Being tech first and data driven, they are consistently looking to bring in the most talented and creative developers to optimise and scale their platform. The firm operate with a flat structure, pushing collaboration and creativity and minimising bureaucracy, giving you access to leadership at founder level. They are now looking to bring in Python Developers with outstanding Computer Science fundamentals to add to their team, bringing creativity and fresh ideas. Role: Design and build their back end low latency, high performant systems that are mission critical to their trading and research operations. Design and implement frameworks, platforms and high volume distributed applications. Have the freedom to rotate around projects of your choice, bringing new ideas and collaborating with various senior developers. Requirements 1 - 4 years of experience programming in Python Outstanding Computer Science fundamentals A degree in Computer Science, Maths or Physics from a top university.
