Python Quantitative Developer – Technology-Empowered Hedge Fund (Base Salary: Between £100,000 - £140,000) A billion-dollar Hedge Fund, who have one of the largest open-source footprints on the market, is currently looking for a Python – Quantitative Developer to join the industry-leading front-office team that focuses on alpha generation, portfolio management, and trade execution. You will be responsible for analysing, developing, and optimizing the multi-asset and high-frequency trading strategies, combining your coding expertise with data-driven insights to drive performance and profitability. Liaising directly with the quantitative researchers and traders, you will have the opportunity to deliver brand-new bespoke pricing libraries to implement fully automated trading strategies, as well as prototype new data feeds and build risk analysis tools from scratch to enhance trading decisions across the front office. The core technology stack is Python within a Linux environment, combined with the latest scientific stack of NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas, on an AWS environment. Must come from another financial institution (hedge fund or investment bank preferred). Deep understanding of financial markets and experience with one asset class is desirable.
