A Globally Leading HFT Shop are looking for an experienced Python Developer to take ownership as one of the founding engineers on a brand-new Equities E-Trading Platform. They have just heavily invested $10 million within this core team to completely build out their trading space from scratch. This core team is engaged in a multi-year effort to build next generation Trading systems, support business expansion, and contribute to the overall growth of the firm. Our client is seeking a driven Python Developer to join a brand-new highly focused front office team. Full ownership of this project includes steering the technical direction that the team goes in. This project requires expert Developers who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be an effective communicator, have a strong ownership mentality with curiosity to learn new business and technology, and be self-driven. Required 2 Years Python Experience Front Office Equities or Fixed Income experience Deep knowledge of distributed service-oriented architecture, relational databases, machine learning/deep learning Experience building high performance, highly available and scalable systems. Experience building complex software systems. A proponent of agile methods: continuous integration, code review, unit testing, refactoring, and related approaches.
