Embedded Software Engineer Waterloo, ON Onsite Strong programming skills – C++ , note that there will not be a lot of new code development other than PoCs , but the person will be resolving compilation issues , reviewing code changes being released by platform team, analyzing issues Scripting knowledge (Medium to High level) : Python, shell Hands on experience with automotive embedded software development, CI/CD process, Strong skills working with configuration management and change management tools like GitHub and build systems like Jenkins. Exposure to Autosar Adaptive service based platforms ( is a plus , not mandatory) - The person should be a fast learner and able to ramp up on this subject Hands on development experience with Real Time OS – QNX, Linux Problem solving and analytical thinking, including ability to identify and analyze technical problems – most importantly, the developer should be able to own the issues and work with different stakeholders to resolve the technical issue Experience with products – CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark is an asset Good communication skills – written and spoken
