Job Title: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer Reports To: CFO FLSA Status: Exempt Candidates will be contacted regarding next steps in application process no earlier than 8/15 Summary of Position: The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas. The AI Specialist will serve as the technical expert in AI technologies and help govern the use of these tools. This individual will also contribute to the development of generative AI software development projects. Job Responsibilities: § Employee must adhere to STRG Policies and Procedures at all times Provides moderately complex operational support on current processes and supports business operations and management in identifying opportunities and solutions to meet current and future business needs. § Leads the efforts for ML/AI/Generative AI work across company teams § Assists with the creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps and implementation approaches § Documents AI architectures, design decisions and technical specifications for reference and knowledge sharing § Promotes best practices in AI through knowledge sharing and training sessions § Participates in code review sessions and provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members § Maintain strict confidentiality of patient protected health information as mandated by STRG procedures and HIPAA Privacy, Security, HITECH, and Transactions and Code Sets regulations § Perform other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities: None Experience / Skill Requirements: • Proven track record of designing/implementing large-scale enterprise solutions • Minimum of two years' experience delivering AI-enabled solutions (Machine Learning, General AI, or Generative AI) • Minimum of five years' proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python • Minimum of three years' experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power BI) • Experience with LLMs (GPT 3.5, GPT 4) • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills • Good organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently while achieving deadlines and effectively communicating project status • Effective oral and written communication skills including technical documentation and training materials • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve processes Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems or Business Administration; supplemented with one or more courses in current technology. AI or ML certification a plus. Experience in lieu of formal education may be substituted. Attendance / Work Schedule: Maintaining and satisfying minimum attendance requirements is an essential function of this position, including working all full-time regular hours as established for this position and scheduled or emergency overtime. Full-time regular hours are defined as Monday through Friday, with after-hours or weekends as required. All employees in this job classification are required to satisfy this requirement. This job classification does not include "light duty" work or allow unpredictable or unrestricted absences.
