Systems and IT Infrastructure Engineer

The Position Solina, a leader in the European food industry, is rapidly expanding its activities in North America. To keep pace with this rapid growth, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to strengthen our team. Join the Solina Group's international IT team as an operational IT infrastructure and systems engineer. You will provide level 2 and 3 technical support, manage IT infrastructures (servers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi), and maintain our Azure environment. Working with the cybersecurity and infrastructure teams, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes. This job posting is for a current vacancy. The ideal skills to meet the challenge are: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Minimum of 5 years of experience as a network/system administrator or engineer Strong knowledge of Azure is essential Ambition to progress into an infrastructure member project role Proactiveness and independent Experience with Azure, Windows, VMware, Fortinet, switches, Ruckus, Citrix, and O365 Experience with PRTG and Service Now is a plus Proficiency in L2 and L3 network design and troubleshooting Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), fluent in English Willingness to travel to other sites in North America and Europe (15% of the time) Decisive, flexible, able to improvise, and works with precision Adherence to company policies on environmental, health, and workplace safety standards About us Solina Canada a proud Canadian food manufacturer for over 80 years, supplies a full range of high-quality food products for foodservice, retail, healthcare and industrial use.
