About the role: Are you passionate about sustainability and looking for an opportunity to launch your career in data analysis and business operations? Smiths Detection is looking for a motivated individual to join our Sustainable Used Materials Services (SUMS) team as an Analyst. This role will help drive service sustainability and profitability through critical data analysis, supporting the optimization of rework parts supply and returns. What You’ll Do: Analyze repair parts data and volumes to drive decisions on inventory and returns management. Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and key metrics for monthly tracking and decision-making. Support SAP and ServiceMax systems by managing and ensuring data accuracy. Create and maintain parts in SAP storage to support efficient harvesting and returns. Conduct pricing and cost analysis on reworked parts, decommissioned items, and disposals to enhance profit margins. Manage the creation and update of reworked parts and associated data in SAP. What We’re Looking For: A Bachelor’s degree in finance, data, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Entry-level candidates should apply. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Knowledge of PowerBI is beneficial but not essential, prior SAP experience is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
