Data Migration Consultant

SmartCo is seeking Data Migration Specialists to support our advertising clients. Due to the growing demand for our services, we are looking for individuals on either a contract or permanent basis to assist several clients with their current requirements. We are specifically seeking a Data Migration Lead & Functional Consultant to join a global ERP rollout programme. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ERP implementation projects, with a strong focus on data migration. You will be responsible for the accurate and seamless transfer of financial data and related master data from legacy systems to a new ERP platform. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep expertise in finance processes, and proficiency in data migration tools and methodologies. Key Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CA, etc.) is preferred. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in ERP system implementation projects (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Maconomy preferred) working as an ERP Functional Consultant or ERP Finance expert. Strong knowledge of data migration tools and technologies such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, or similar ETL tools, along with experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation techniques.
