Responsibilities for the role of Data Scientist will include: Collect, clean, and process football-related data from various sources. Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze player performance and match outcomes. Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with football analysts, coaches, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable insights. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in sports analytics and data science. As the selected Data Scientist, you background should include: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Essential - Proven experience in data science within the sports industry. Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Knowledge of football tactics, strategies, and player performance metrics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
