Role Purpose: We are seeking a Business Analyst to join us. The BA will work as part of the International Information Technology team based in London and Madrid, providing business analysis for my client's global insurance business. This role will be key within a cross-functional team, defining and delivering change. 3 Days a Week On Site - Inside IR35 Key Accountabilities: Support other team members as required to iterate an existing product or deliver a new MVP. Document and validate non-functional requirements. Document and evaluate current processes. Design new business processes. Write user stories and acceptance criteria. Assist the Product Manager in defining and managing the backlog. Create and contribute to data modeling and analysis. Assist with user acceptance testing. Support product launches, including user training, end-user support, and go-live activities. Assist with vendor selection and procurement. Gather, analyze, and summarize data. Interpret and communicate analysis results to various stakeholders. Review and contribute to technical design. Diagnose and support escalated support tickets. Document and design user journeys and system interactions. Skills & Abilities: Insurance/Reinsurance domain knowledge. Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels. Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and common process mapping tools. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Professional Experience: Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst. Experience with insurance systems and processes is advantageous. Experience working in matrix organizations and global teams. Agile methodologies experience is essential, with knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework being desirable. Experience writing user stories and non-functional requirements. Skilled in understanding and mapping complex processes.
