Technical Architect Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 Location: Manchester City Centre Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 Days On-Site, 3 Days Work from Home) About Us: Our Product Managers and Design teams collaborate closely to plan and develop new and enhanced features. What We Offer: Bonus Schemes Company Pension Employee Discount The Role: You will be instrumental in shaping and advancing the function’s current and future systems, focusing on software engineering, architecture, design patterns, and solution development. As the Technical Architect, you will spearhead the architectural strategy, guiding solution specifications, design patterns, and engineering practices while drawing on the collective expertise within the team. You will maintain consistency across the entire system landscape, regularly assessing and updating legacy systems to integrate scalable, high-performance, maintainable, and resilient software solutions. What We're Looking For: Extensive expertise in SQL Server and RDBMS, including in-depth knowledge of SQL Server internals, performance optimization, database design, database patterns, and queuing. Proven experience in migrating complex technical environments from on-premises SQL Server to cloud-hosted solutions. A collaborative mindset, skilled at eliciting ideas and input from all levels of technical staff, from junior to senior, to define optimal solutions with strong team alignment.
