Are you an experienced Senior Software Engineer? If your answer is yes, its your lucky day as we are looking for a dynamic and talented person to join our team in the US What will your role be? Scalian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team, where you will develop and implement advanced models within our simulation environment to enhance autonomous systems. You'll work with a collaborative team to build and simulate complex systems, ensuring their performance and reliability in real-world scenarios. Your role will focus on creating models that support system interactions, sensor data generation, communication statuses, and tracking mechanisms to ensure overall system accuracy and robustness. Activities: Develop and integrate models into the simulation environment, ensuring they function smoothly and accurately reflect real-world scenarios Perform detailed testing and validation to verify model performance and accuracy under different conditions Work closely with engineers and simulation experts to ensure model development aligns with the projects objectives and broader system requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that models meet operational and system requirements, and provide insights for improvements Create thorough documentation to describe the models, including design, usage, and performance data Identify and address potential issues in models, offering solutions to improve functionality or efficiency Stay current with advancements in simulation and modeling technologies, applying new insights to improve model accuracy and efficiency What skills and qualifications are we looking for? At least 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree or 3 years with a Masters degree Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB, with experience in simulation environments Expereince in Aerospace or Automotive in a preferred Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build models that accurately reflect complex systems Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical details to a wide range of stakeholders Strong problem-solving mindset, focused on innovation and continuous improvement in model development Experience with debugging and optimizing models for better performance and scalability Hybrid work opportunity, with three days per week required on-site and flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week Why join us?
