Senior Python Developer – Front Office – up to £120,000 salary bonus

Join a Tier 1 Hedge Fund and be responsible for the firm’s trade flow stack, driving modernisation across the business. Having experience working directly on trading systems is the key here, you will be working in Front Office, liaising and collaborating with various investment teams so having that Front Office exposure will help you to hit the ground running. You will be able to make an immediate impact on the trade flow stack, optimising and refactoring to enable improved test automation and release process. You will also have the opportunity to work with Front Arena, the business’ main cross asset position keeping system. You will be interfacing closely with this application as it can be modified and extended using Python. Technology is at the forefront of the business, so cross-team collaboration is encouraged, giving you the scope to work within different aspects of the fund. In terms of experience, as mentioned above, you will be coming from a firm where you have worked directly on trading systems and have strong Python skills, with a focus on application building. Starting salary is open, they are just keen to get the right person for the job. The top-end will most likely be around the £120,000 mark with bonuses and other benefits on top.
