Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Ground System R&D Project Manager to join the Space and Intelligence Business Group in our Chantilly, VA office. This group provides specialized engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The Ground System R&D Project Manager assists the customer with systems engineering and program oversight of International R&D engagements that enable successful software development, demonstration, integration and accelerated transition of capability derived from the program into appropriate US and international enterprise level architecture. The Ground System R&D Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a staff of senior systems administrators managing a customer network that includes all components of a mature operational network including network infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, storage, VTC Network, and cloud environments. The Ground System R&D Project Manager will assist with budget and contract forecasts, and facilitating international funding transfers. The Ground System R&D Project Manager coordinates with the customer to develop IT service requirements and solutions and will be the SME for the customer to interface between the customer's networked international IT partners and US Government enterprise. The Ground System R&D Project Manager is the chair of an international working group of FVEY IT leads who collaborate on common mission solutions and represents the working group to senior government staff. The lead must form trusted relationships with FVEY IT leads charged with implementing the strategic vision. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly Must have a bachelor's degree with 14 years relevant work experience or 12 years with master's degree Program management experience Work with government technical and contract staff to design, acquire, install, test, and manage a network supporting international research and development partners Oversee the administration of Windows servers, teleconferencing solution, and telephone services Work with government technical and contract staff to implement advanced network solutions Draft security documentation supporting the accreditation of the network and servers Desired Qualifications: Work with technical staff to capture technical and network requirements Draft common acquisition artifacts such as statement of work, CDRLs, In Scope Determination, and proposal evaluation criteria SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
