The role of the IT Service Desk Technician is to support all services including applications, systems, hardware and customers. Key Information Advanced 1st OR 2nd Line Support level Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum Working Location: 2 options (Hybrid 2 days at home or Fully office based) Office Location: Hereford Additional Bonuses: Up to 15% company bonus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension - 5% employer and 4% employee 4 x salary life assurance Cycle to work scheme Retail discounts Employee Assistance Program Annual Pay Review Main Duties and Responsibilities of the IT Service Desk Technician role Provide support to all local and remote IT end-users. Perform IT helpdesk administration such as account creation, password resets, and file and folder permissions. Respond to end users' calls, emails, support tickets, and walk-ins to troubleshoot, triage, and gather information. Provide desktop support to IT end-users with workstations, laptops, connectivity and end-user application support. Perform Network administration and troubleshooting such as Exchange, Citrix, and File Server administration. Provide Telephone administration with handset installation, voicemail and call monitoring. Maintain the company's IT asset register. Provide detailed documentation and guidance to all users in effectively using systems and products where required. Identify and work towards service improvements and service excellence. Experience Needed for the IT Service Desk Technician role Experience in an advanced 1st or 2nd line focused IT Support/Technician role Office 365 Microsoft Active Directory Experience building PCs and laptops Experience working in an office environment Ability to handle difficult and demanding customer environments Excellent numeracy skills and experience in using spreadsheets Full Drivers Licence Desirables Certifications in Microsoft technologies ITIL Foundation certificate We will be reviewing applications and interviewing candidates on an ongoing basis and encourage you to submit your application early.
