Date Posted: 03/06/2025 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 479248 Job Title: Java Developer Job Location: Irving, TX, USA, 75039 Work Model: Hybrid Shift: 3 days per week onsite Employment Type: Temporary Estimated Duration (In months): 13 Min Hourly Rate ($): 70.00 Max Hourly Rate ($): 75.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: Banking/Financial, CI/CD tools, Hibernate, J2EE, Java, React.JS, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Framework Job Description Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience: • Full-stack developer with 7 years of experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications applying Object-Oriented Design principles. • Extensive hands-on experience with Java Core, including concurrent programming. • Proficiency in Spring Framework, including Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, and Hibernate. • Experience with cloud computing technologies, containers, microservices, and handling large datasets (Docker, Kubernetes). • Proficiency in databases such as Spark, RDBMS (preferably Oracle), and NoSQL (preferably MongoDB). • Familiarity with Linux environments, including scripting skills. • Experience with SDLC/DevOps tools such as Git/BitBucket, CI/CD pipeline frameworks (Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA), and secure coding toolkits. • Hands-on experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST APIs, and backend development using Java/J2EE technologies. • Experience with Agile software development processes with a strong emphasis on test-driven development. • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience in tools such as JIRA, BlackDuck, and SONAR. • Demonstrated capacity to build sophisticated tooling for development and production team use. • Ability to operate with some level of direct supervision. Overview: This is a development position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to build robust, high-performance, large-scale applications. Job Duties: • Develop and maintain scalable and maintainable applications using Java and related technologies. • Implement and enhance REST APIs and backend services. • Work within Agile software development processes, focusing on test-driven development. • Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build sophisticated development and production tooling. • Utilize cloud computing technologies and work with microservices and large datasets. • Ensure best practices in secure coding, performance optimization, and system scalability.
