Lead Software Engineer – Basingstoke, Hampshire (Hybrid) Hybrid working 2 days onsite per week £80k-£84k Bonus Car Allowance As a Senior Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of innovative, scalable solutions that enhance user experiences and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires a strong technical leader who can collaborate across teams, champion best practices, and ensure the seamless integration of modern digital products, all while fostering continuous improvement and upskilling within the engineering community. Essential Skills 10-15 years of engineering experience, with 8 years in technical leadership. Expertise in modern application architecture, cloud-native design (Azure/Google Cloud), and DevSecOps practices. Hands-on experience in web technologies, CI/CD, TDD, Kubernetes, and API-First design.
