Senior Data Engineer

SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform data analysis using SQL, identify critical data elements, propose data quality rules and document data management requirements. Self-starter who is able to lead meetings independently with data and technology stakeholders to understand the upstream data sources, SQL codes written by others and data lineage documents of upstream data sources and their metadata. Articulate complex, large scale, and high impact technical design and development details to non-technical business partners. Excellent convincing skills and problem-solving skills; possess a growth mindset. Elicit, analyze, and understand business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions, including data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data life-cycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata.
