Information Technology Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining our Windows server environment. They will play a key role in optimizing the system infrastructure to ensure peak performance, high availability, and security across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, security patches, and software upgrades, to ensure servers remain secure and up-to-date.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
• Monitor system performance and optimize configurations to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop, manage, and test backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• Implement security best practices and tools, including antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organization’s infrastructure.
• Use PowerShell and other scripting tools to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions and security tools
